We were approached by the owners of this four bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Argenton to install solar and battery storage. The home previously had a small solar system, but with a new roof being installed, the home owner felt it was the perfect time to upgrade to a larger system.

After discussing their overall power usage as well as what they hoped to achieve, we installed 11kW of Trina panels mounted using Clenergy racking. This was paired with 19.3kWh of BYD HVM batteries, connected to a Fronius Gen24 Primo Inverter.

To ensure the customer could still use their power during a blackout, the system also included backup for emergency power supply. Funnily enough, within a week of install there was a major blackout in the area that caused homes to lose power for an entire day. The system worked like a charm, with the emergency supply kicking in straight away!
