If you’ve been looking at our website or socials, you might’ve seen the words Level 2, Level 2 ASP or Level 2 Electrician thrown around.
So what does it mean?
Being a Level 2 Authorised Service Provider (ASP) means you can carry out any work involving connecting and disconnecting electrical power from the main power supply. This requires an additional qualification that not all sparkies choose to do. Being Level 2 qualified means you can work on:
Disconnecting and reconnecting power
Underground services
Overhead services
Metering and energising
So when might you need a Level 2 ASP?
There are many reasons you may need to work with a level 2 asp including:
Upgrading your home or business from single phase to three phase power
Connecting your home to the main power supply through both overhead and underground power during a new build or renovation
